Moritz Dortmund aka Mystical Mo, i am mainly a drummer and plays in different groups drumset.
Stylistically, i`m  at home with everything Groove has.
My favourite music is music with african roots like Funk, HipHop, Reggae, Dancehall, Jungle, Jazz,
Soul, Latin…
Over the years i played with countless singers, musicians, dj’s and dancers in
many European cities and looks back on many great gigs.
I earned my first money as a professional musician mainly with Jazz, winning
young talent (Winning Jazz) and played with Barbara Dennerlein, Raphael Wressning,
Lutz Krajenski, David Milzow and many more together.
In 2004, i worked a lot in the funk / soul circle with the Soulpower project. Monthly
Singers came from the vicious circle of James Brown to Hannover and were from the Screen
Club accompanied. Here are some names: Marva Whitney, Martha High, Sweet Charles
Sherrell, Waldo Wheaters, Corey Parker. In 2006 i toured Europe with Marva Whitney.
In recent years, most live concerts in the genre have been Reggae/ Dancehall and there have been
so many festivals throughout Europe contested:
Summerjam (2015, 2018), Reggaejam Bersenbrück (2015, 2016), Ruhr Reggae Summer (2011,
2013, 2015, 2018), Keep It Real Jam ( 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016), Chiemsee Reggae Summer
(2015), Reggae Fever / NL (2016), Pleins Les Watts / Schweiz (2014 / 2022). Weedbeat Festival
(2006, 2007, 2011, 2012, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019). Black Forest On Fire (2016, 2017, 2018,
2019 ), Irish International Ska and Reggae Fest / Ireland (2017, 2018), Bomboclaat Festival
(2016), Gulu Reggae Festival / Uganda (2023) and many more.
I played with successful singers like:
Turbulence, Bugle, Cali P, Jah Mason, Perfect Giddimani, Norris Man, Torch, Randy
Valentine, Etzia, Raymond Wright, Rebellion The Recaller, Owen Casey, RC, Exile Di Brave,
Ras Muhamad
and also german singers like: Ganjaman, Dflame, Mamadee, Sara Lugo, Benjie, Tóke, Uwe
Banton, Trixstar, Mellow Mark and many more.
The backingbands named Boomrush Backup and Soul Rebelz.
In 2017 the album “Better Days” of the Peace Development Crew took the 19th position on the Global Reggae Charts.
This was followed by concerts in Germany, Holland and Ireland with the entire band.
During a band-exchange the Peace Development Crew went in 2019 to Jamaica. There they recorded
and played concerts with the Jamaican singer Colah Colah.

Percusssion has always been in the concept and i literally play quite alot of percussions in parties since years.
In 2019 i developed my Drum-performances and apparently performes street drum-shows, Street Music Festivals, and as well oftenly plays LED DRUM SHOWS with “Misson4mars” .
